Our Services

Driving Business Growth
Through Technology

Plenty of firms will tell you what to do. Fewer will sit with you through the quarter where it has to actually work. We organise everything around three stages, and we are willing to be judged on the third.

Where people usually start

Two fixed-scope pieces of work that give you a decision, not a relationship you have to commit to first.

Technology Health Check

Fixed scope · fixed fee · report and board-ready summary

An unbiased read on where your technology actually stands: what is working, what is fragile, what breaks first as you grow, and what it will cost to fix.

  • Architecture, delivery and cost reviewed together
  • Risks ranked by when they'll actually bite, not by abstract severity
  • A short list of what to do next, in order

AI Business Readiness

Fixed scope · fixed fee · policy pack included

Whether your team is genuinely getting productivity out of AI, where the real exposure sits, or what to put in writing before somebody in your business decides for you.

  • Tooling and usage assessed by team
  • Risk, data and regulatory exposure mapped
  • Usage guidelines and business AI policy drafted

About Us

Where Business Meets Technology

Aldemis is a partnership of operators: former CTOs, CEOs and commercial leads working with growth-stage businesses in fintech, payments, SaaS and regulated markets. Based in London and Surrey, the team works across the UK and Europe. Its aim is to bridge the gap between business and technology, so that technology decisions support growth rather than hold it back.

The partners bring 50 years of combined C-level experience, and have founded, led or turned around more than 20 start-ups. They have also personally led rounds that raised over £30m. Aldemis works with businesses from pre-revenue to £250m, advising from strategy through to delivery.

Richard Ney

Richard Ney

Founding Partner · Technology and business strategy

Twenty-five years in Board and C-level seats across seventeen-plus ventures, with more than £25m raised across rounds he has personally led. Previously co-founded a stock exchange SaaS business that grew to thirty people across London and Bordeaux, and led a venture to a £30m+ valuation. Still writes code most weeks, which is why the technical questions in a first meeting tend to be specific.

Peter Baxendale

Peter Baxendale

Founding Partner · Go-to-market

Chief Revenue Officer across multiple organisations, specialising in high-growth acceleration. Works with startups and scale-ups on go-to-market strategies built for ten-fold revenue increases and, more usefully, on whether the technology plan underneath them can carry the weight.

Testimonials

Trusted By Founders And CEOs

They cut through complexity, challenge assumptions, and focus us on what will genuinely move the business forward.
Founder & CEO, AI SaaS
Clarity and simplicity throughout, making sure nothing is overlooked, and nothing is over-engineered.
Founder, AI start-up
Incredibly good at creating structure and process out of chaos. It got us out of tricky situations several times.
CEO, fintech scale-up

Think, plan, and do in that order.

Most engagements move through all three. Some stop after the first, which is a perfectly good outcome if the answer turns out to be "do less".

Think

01

Think

Understand the business before the stack. What you sell, to whom, at what margin, and what has to be true in eighteen months. Only then is it worth asking whether the technology supports that.

  • CxO and board advisory
  • Technology strategy
  • Roadmap definition
  • Business plan pressure-testing
  • Technical due diligence
  • Build, buy or partner decisions
Plan

02

Plan

Turn the direction into something with an order, an owner and a cost. This is usually where the difficult conversations happen, and where the value is.

  • Process and quality improvement
  • Development management
  • Product roadmap sequencing
  • Team structure and hiring
  • Vendor and offshore models
  • Cost and licensing review
Do

03

Do

Stay through the part where it has to actually work. Building it, covering a seat, or standing alongside your team while they do it themselves, whichever the situation calls for.

  • Full-stack delivery, web and mobile
  • Quality review and remediation
  • Team augmentation
  • Interim and fractional leadership
  • Delivery turnaround
  • Handover and knowledge transfer
